Ingredients
Scale
1 lb skirt steak
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
Place the skirt steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Grill the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the steak overnight.
Adjust the honey and soy sauce ratio to taste.
Serve with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
