These air fryer frozen sweet potato fries are perfectly crispy, golden, and easy to make in just minutes. With less oil than deep frying, they’re a healthier alternative to traditional fries. Serve them as a side dish or a quick snack with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag of frozen sweet potato fries
  • Cooking spray (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, or cinnamon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for 3-5 minutes.

Step 2: Arrange the Fries in a Single Layer

  • Spread the frozen sweet potato fries evenly in the air fryer basket.
  • Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if needed.

Step 3: Air Fry the Fries

  • Cook at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • If you prefer extra crispy fries, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Step 4: Season and Serve

  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, or other seasonings of your choice.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Do not thaw the fries before air frying, as this may result in soggy fries.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the fries with cooking oil before air frying.
  • If cooking multiple batches, reduce cooking time by 1-2 minutes for subsequent batches since the air fryer will be hotter.
  • Shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
